The VALMIDO device is a multi applications secure device offering strong authentication protocols. The first implemented protocol is FIDO2, enabling user to use passkeys instead of passwords in order to authenticate themselves with any service supporting FIDO2.

VALMIDO device never works alone. It is always used with a Companion device: the user’s PC or smartphone on which authentication operation is performed.

This manual aims to provide a overview of a VALMIDO device and then details its usage for each application.
